Founded in 1988, Industry Freight Forwarding (IFFI) began operations as a Southern California freight forwarder/ consolidator.
In mid - 2008, IFFI was rebranded as MEGA Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (MEGA SCS) to aggressively compete at the highest levels of global logistics as a truly one stop, we do it all, single chain of custody provider to importers, exporters, trading companies, shippers and distributors. MEGA SCS opened our import warehousing operation in July 2008, and then within 2-weeks MEGA SCS also received our FMC NVOCC and IATA forwarding licenses, as well as received our 3PL/ Freight brokerage authority from the FMCSA.
In early 2009, MEGA Supply Chain Solutions Inc. invested heavily into our state-of-the art B2B Technology platform that includes VOIP Communications, EDI, RF & RFID, GPS and GPRS, as well enterprise ERP, TMS, GTM and WMS operational systems.
In mid 2009, MEGA Supply Chain Solutions Inc. acquired Aeris Logistics LLC, a licensed Transportation Security Administration Indirect Air Carrier, Consolidator, forwarder and Certified Cargo Screening company.
In late 2009, MEGA Supply Chain Solutions Inc. acquired Industry Freight Forwarding, a Nation-wide surface freight forwarder, LTL consolidator, P&D Carrier and Drayman.
In early 2010, MEGA Supply Chain Solutions Inc. became US Customs & Border Protection Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Certified partner.
Expected mid - 2010, MEGA Supply Chain Solutions Inc. opens Tri-State Regional Trucking operations and becomes a US Customs & Border Protection certified customs house brokerage.
